Sessions

This guide will show you how to add/manage Sessions in your event.

  • Select your event go to the left side menu  Session Hub > Sessions.
  • Click Import in the upper-right corner to import your sessions. You can download and fill out the sample CSV file to ensure a smooth import process.
  • Click Export in the upper-right corner to export your sessions.
  • Click Add in the upper-right corner to create a Session.

Apply to All Ticket Types
When enabled, this session will be visible to all ticket types. If disabled, you’ll need to manually select which ticket types can access this session.

Note: Before selecting a ticket type, make sure you have created your ticket types. You can find it under the General menu > Ticket Type to create your first ticket type if it doesn’t exist yet.

Filter Eligibility by Form Field Answer
When enabled, this kiosk will only be accessible to registrants whose form field answers match the selected response which lets you create specialized check-in lines. 

Note: Once this option is enabled, additional settings will appear for you to select a form.

Capacity
This field specifies the maximum number of attendees allowed for the session. If you leave this field empty, the capacity will automatically be set to unlimited.

Price
Enter the price, or leave this field empty to automatically set the session as free.

Location
Specifies the venue or room for in-person sessions, or provides the meeting link for virtual sessions.

Visibility
This setting decides where and how the session can be displayed and processed. For each location you can set it to Visible or Hidden. 

Hide Session
When enabled, this session will be visible on attendee schedule at event app or registration portal if only the attendee is already registered

Allow Registration if Sessions Overlap
When enabled, attendees can register for this session even if it overlaps with other sessions in their schedule.

Door Registration Policy
Manage how scans handle unregistered attendees: Deny All restricts access if the attendee is not pre-registered to the session, Auto Register automatically registers eligible attendees (and overwrites non-eligible ones), while Manual Register allows manual registration for eligible but not pre-registered attendees with overwrite options. Choose the option that best fits your session’s access policy.

Tags
Tags are labels you can assign to sessions for grouping them under specific topics etc.

Tracks
Used to organize sessions into clear categories, helping attendees navigate multi-session or multi-day events more easily.

Activate Gamification
Gamification is a feature available in the event app. It allows attendees to earn points when they check in to a session.

Description
This field allows you to add details or additional information about  the session. This field is visible on event app, registration portal and registration page.
