How to Design a Badge in the On-Site Hub

-
In your event dashboard, open the On-Site Hub.
-
Click Badges on the left menu.
-
You will see all existing badges. Click Create to start a new one.
-
Name your badge for easy reference later.

Apply to All Ticket Types:
- Enable if this badge is for all attendees.
- Disable to assign the badge to specific types (e.g., VIP, Staff, General Admission).

- Choose from Zebra, Brother, Epson, or Custom for third-party printers.
- Each printer will show different label sizes. (Zebra and Custom printers allow size adjustments.)
Template Selection:
- Start with the empty template. (Preset templates are coming soon!)

#### Alignment Tools (Canvas Positioning)
Your alignment tools (top of the design panel) determine where the selected element sits on the badge canvas.
| Icon Position | Function |
|---------------|------------|
| Left Align | Positions element at the left edge of the badge canvas |
| Horizontal Center | Centers element horizontally on the canvas |
| Right Align | Positions element at the right edge of the canvas |
| Top Align | Moves element to the top of the canvas |
| Vertical Center | Centers element vertically on the canvas |
| Bottom Align | Positions element at the bottom of the canvas |
**Tip:** Canvas alignment affects the entire badge, not just the field box!
#### Manual Positioning (X, Y values)
- **X:** Horizontal distance from the left edge.
- **Y:** Vertical distance from the top.
- For pixel-perfect placement, type values directly.
#### Rotation
- Rotate elements 90°, 180°, or 270°.
- Use 180° rotation for designing the back side of double-sided badges.
#### Size and Lock Ratio
- Set **Width** and **Height** of elements.
- Lock the ratio to keep proportions consistent.
#### Style Settings
- Text formatting: **Bold**, *Italic*, _Underline_.
- Text case: Default, Capitalize, Lowercase, Uppercase.
- Font size, type, line height, and letter spacing.
- Text alignment **inside** the field box:
- Left, Center, Right
- Top, Middle, Bottom
**Tip:** Canvas alignment controls the whole element, while text alignment inside the box controls how text appears within its frame.
### Layers Tab

- Hide or show layers temporarily.
- Lock layers to avoid accidental changes.
- **Filter (Conditional Visibility):**
- Show or hide elements based on ticket type or form responses.
